As the lighting industry has moved from incandescent bulbs, that are prone to breakage, to nearly indestructible LEDs, the issue is not the LED, but the chips in the endcap switch that are prone to damage and failure.

The switch on our Tactical Blue-Dot™ lights are recessed to not only protect the switch from accidental turn-ons, but inherently protect the chips that allow swift and silent switching from Hi to Lo to Strobe (Tactical Touch®).

Brite-Strike® “Tactical Blue-Dot™” tactical flashlights were designed by police officers for police officers. The body is CNC machine milled from a single billet of high grade aerospace aluminum. The proprietary black anodized finish exceeds Mil Spec class two type III. The unique tri-sided body is more ergonomic for better gripping. The front crenelated strike crown is blunted and the rear crown is more aggressive for maximum effectiveness in applying pressure point control techniques.
